So when RB comes to town, we tend to stay up obscenely late talking/hanging out. He was at my place until 1:30 last night. He was here until 1 tonight. We (he, his girlfriend and I) ended up playing rummy. His gf drinks coffee, so I made about a third of a pot. She had a cup and I had two. I almost never drink coffee now, so I'm feeling pretty well buzzed off the caffeine. (Have I ever mentioned that I like my coffee strong enough to run a marathon?) Right now I can't get to sleep. I may not be able to all night. I need to get up at 8 in the morning (4 hours from now.) My knees hurt when I don't get sleep, and they're already bothering me. At least I'm going to be somewhat productive with this time. I've already fired up the new blog and started a new story which is posted and will be linked when I add a bit more to it. I've run updates of some of my software. I am getting ready to lift some weights. If I can't sleep, I may as well exercise. I'm going to feel terrible... (more)
